Wheels2Thrive is a faith-informed nonprofit serving single parents and families in need throughout the Colorado Springs metropolitan area. We help remove transportation barriers through reliable vehicles, affordable automotive repairs, practical maintenance education, and compassionate community support.

Wheels2Thrive exists to restore mobility and renew hope by providing reliable transportation, affordable repairs, and practical automotive training to single parents and families facing financial hardship.
Our purpose goes beyond solving an immediate transportation problem. We want to help families move toward greater stability, independence, and opportunity.
A dependable vehicle can help a parent get to work consistently, take children to school, attend important appointments, and meet the everyday responsibilities of caring for a family.

Our Christian faith shapes both why we serve and how we serve.
We believe we are called to love and serve our neighbors as Christ has loved us. Through practical support, relational care, responsible stewardship, and faithful service, we seek to demonstrate God's compassion in tangible ways.
For Wheels2Thrive, working on vehicles is about much more than cars. It provides an opportunity to serve people with dignity, build relationships, share practical skills, and put faith into action.
The automotive-ministry model reflected in your planning materials similarly emphasizes serving people through practical automotive assistance and engaging volunteers in meaningful service.
WHAT WE DO
Reliable Transportation
We provide reliable vehicles to qualifying families who need transportation to get to work, take children to school, attend essential appointments, and meet the responsibilities of everyday life. Providing dependable transportation to families in need is at the center of the Wheels2Thrive vision.
Affordable Repairs
An unexpected vehicle repair can create a significant hardship for a family already working within a limited budget.
Wheels2Thrive helps with needed vehicle maintenance and repairs at a fair cost, with the envisioned program asking participating families to pay for approved parts.
Teach & Train
We want the people we serve to have more than a working vehicle. We want them to have greater confidence caring for it.
Through practical instruction in basic automotive maintenance, families can learn skills that help them better understand their vehicles, recognize maintenance needs, and potentially prevent avoidable problems. Teaching basic maintenance is one of the organization's stated priorities.
Responsible Resale
Not every donated vehicle will be the right vehicle to place with a family.
Selected donated vehicles may be responsibly resold, allowing their value to generate working capital that helps sustain the ministry and serve additional families.

Our focus is on single parents and families experiencing financial hardship throughout the Colorado Springs metropolitan area, with assistance based on demonstrated need.
Every family's circumstances are different. We seek to approach each person with dignity, compassion, and respect while also carefully stewarding the vehicles, funds, parts, volunteer time, and other resources entrusted to Wheels2Thrive.
Our goal is not simply to provide temporary assistance. We want transportation to become a bridge toward greater stability and opportunity.

More Than a Car
A vehicle can be a powerful tool for change.
A donated car can become dependable transportation for a parent trying to maintain employment.
A volunteer can turn automotive knowledge into meaningful service.
A repair can help someone continue getting to work.
A maintenance lesson can give a vehicle owner greater confidence and independence.
A community partnership can provide resources that allow another family to be served.
And a donated vehicle that isn't appropriate for placement may still provide financial resources that help sustain the ministry.
The vehicle is the tool. People are the purpose.
BUILT BY COMMUNITY
Many Skills. One Mission.
Wheels2Thrive is designed to bring people together around a shared purpose.
Experienced automotive professionals can contribute technical expertise. Hobbyists and people comfortable with basic vehicle maintenance can work alongside them. Volunteers without automotive experience can contribute through administration, hospitality, vehicle detailing, outreach, fundraising, communications, and many other areas.
The auto-ministry planning resource provided for Wheels2Thrive recognizes professional mechanics, automotive enthusiasts, people with basic mechanical skills, and volunteers with little or no automotive experience as valuable members of an automotive ministry.
Churches, businesses, repair shops, donors, volunteers, and community organizations can also play an important role by contributing resources, expertise, relationships, and support.
You don't have to be a mechanic to help put hope in motion.

We envision Wheels2Thrive becoming a sustainable community resource where donated vehicles, skilled volunteers, churches, businesses, donors, and community partners work together to help families overcome transportation barriers.
We seek to steward every vehicle and every contribution responsibly—whether that means providing a reliable vehicle to a qualifying family, helping repair an existing vehicle, teaching someone how to care for it, or responsibly using the value of a donated vehicle to help sustain the ministry.
At the center of everything we do are people.
Our work may begin with vehicles, but our purpose is helping people move forward with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
